I'm in the library now. Bored and waiting to meet Sarah at 2.30. My laptop's dead. *cries* I've sent it for servicing. Hope I get it back soon. It's the only contact I have to the outside world. Excluding my phone of course.
I had a choir-full weekend. Sang for mass as usual on Saturday. After that, dinner, practise for next week, then we did a new cool song! "The Crown of Roses". It's such a sad song but so so nice! Had so much fun learning and singing it. We even sang it at Icekimo! We sang all sorts of funny stuff there too. "Christmas Is Coming", the 1-2-3 warm up and some "fish and chips" counter-melody thing. Haha. Crazy time, we had.
Sunday. First combined choir practice. It was alright. We learnt a nice and grand song. "Resonemus Laudibus". It isn't as nice as "The Crown of Roses" but I like it. Alto parts were kinda tough. And the pace of the whole practice was so fast. We poor altos couldn't even get the timing right. Subsequent practices will be slower though, I hope. Psst... Good news! I'm an Alto2!

I wanted to post earlier but I've been procrastinating. As usual. Which is really bad since I've got so much to do. Tutorials, readings... And I have yet to settle QP stuff and HALMM recruitment. I won't be surprised if either Lucas or someone from QP screams at me one of these days. Yikes. Okay. I'll call Grace Wong today. By hook or by crook.
Hmmm. The weekend was busy but rather enjoyable. Was fund-raising at Novena and St Anne's. First time I did such a thing. It was quite fun actually. Sarah's handbag got stolen at St Anne's. How can anyone be so evil? Now the poor gal has to get everything replaced. Phone, IC, matric card, keys, POSB card, everything!
Went for my grandfather's birthday dinner on Sunday. It was alright. The food was not bad. But the cake was AWESOME!!! Chocolate and banana! YUMMY!!! And it was great seeing all my cousins again. Haven't met up for ages.
Lessons start in 2 hours... I don't wanna go... *whines*

Got this from Adam's blog. Lyrics of a very nice song.
Noli manere, manere in memoria. (x2)
Sephiroth, Sephiroth.
Saevam iram, iram et dolorem. (x2)
Sephiroth, Sephiroth.
Ferum terrible, ferum fatum.
Noli manere, manere in memoria. (x2)
Sephiroth, Sephiroth.
Veni, mi fili. Veni, mi fili.
Hic veni, da mihi mortem iterum.
Veni, mi fili. Veni, mi fili.
Hic veni, da mihi...
Noli manere in memoria.
Saevam iram et dolorem.
Ferum terrible fatum.
Ille iterum veniet.
Mi fili, veni, veni, veni, mi fili. (x4)
Mi fili, veni, veni, veni, mi fili.
(Qui mortem invitavis,)
Mi fili, veni, veni, veni, mi fili.
(Poena funesta natus,)
Mi fili, veni, veni, veni, mi fili.
(Noli nomen vocare.)
Mi fili, veni, veni, veni, mi fili.
(Ille iterum veniet.)
Sephiroth, Sephiroth.
[One-Winged Angel]
Again, if you wanna listen to it, let me know the next time you see me on MSN.
Went to see my baby nephew just now. He's so cute!!!

Ok... I got this weird game from Vanessa. Haha.
Rules of the game:
1. Post 5 weird/random stuff about yourself.
2. At the end, list the names of 5 people whom you want next to do this, and leave a comment "YOU ARE TAGGED!" in their blog and tell them to read your blog for rules.
Here goes...
1. I burp really often.
2. I like making weird noises.
3. I love my bed at home.
4. My weekends are never complete without a visit to Icekimo.
5. I love being an alto.
The 5 people would be...
1. Usagi
2. Ysa
3. Cynthia
4. Elaine
5. Nicole Ben
Haha. Alright, that's it. I don't want to go to school tomorrow... Sigh...

Hello. Skipped 105 lecture today since it was the only one for the day. And it was right smack in the middle of the day which sucks. So I decided to go home. Heh. Went to Thomson Plaza to run a few errands for Mummy. Then later in the evening went to church for AV training. Met Marianne there. The poor gal has a quiz tomorrow. Good thing my lecturers ain't that sadistic. Sigh... Wanted to go to Icekimo with her... I'm craving for Nutella ice-cream! *pouts* Ended up going to Meng's with the oldies instead. (Ok, they're just relatively older than 19-year-old me) So here I am! Good thing I start at 2.30 tomorrow. Don't hafta wake up early. I managed to get the PE i wanted! Yay!

This being my first post of 2006, I guess this calls for big "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" from me. Haha. I know this is gonna sound really cliched but gosh, time really flies! 2005 has been a really eventful and significant year for me. Many events and people have changed my life and helped define who I am today. Looking back, I think I've really grown this past year! So anyway, 2005 has been significant because...
~I started the year working, not schooling.
~I received my A level results.
~I started taking driving lessons.
~The oldies left HALMM.
~We rebuilt HALMM.
~I sang for Easter Vigil.
~I got into NTU SCE.
~I got to meet some really awesome people in NTU.
~Xuwen and I became roomies.
~I started living away from home 5 days a week.
~I joined QP.
~I sang for Midnight Mass.
I wanna thank all who have made the above possible and everyone who has made the past year such an enriching one for me.
@Adam: We've really grown closer thoughout the year, have we? I'm really glad you're happy in HALMM. May your love for God and music grow throught this year. You're really talented, don't let that talent of yours go to waste! And of course, all the best for your Os. :D
@HALMM: They left, we took over, and it's good! You guys make me live for Saturdays. No words can express how much I love you all. I've really grown so much in this ministry and it's thanks to each and every one of you. Without you, I doubt I'd be able to have the voice and confidence I have today. Thank you for loving me for who I am. Carolling with you guys was awesome! May 2006 bring us better music, more members, greater love, more carolling and more visits to Icekimo! You guys rock!
@Tab, Mag, Yati, Jin Hua, James, Angeline, etc: You guys are really cool, you know that? I can't imagine what life in SCE would be like without you all! Pretty boring I'm sure... Thanks for being there for me, may it be for school work or entertainment or whatever. Well, it's back to school again tomorrow. All the best for the new sem!
@Xuwen: It's been good eh? Being roomies for one sem? Well, it better be coz we've got at least another sem to go! Haha... Seriously, it's been great. It's amazing how we manage to get along so well. What's even more amazing is how we manage to tolerate each other's crazy antics! Good luck with that crazy course of yours. And see you tomorrow. Love you babe!
@Serene, Jasmine and Adeline: I miss you guys so much! I can't believe we didn't meet up during the hols. Sigh... Must be me and my crazy carolling schedule. We have to meet up soon. Thanks for being such wonderful friends.
@Leng Sim: I've been holding on to your books since last year! We have to meet up soon too. We NEED to. It's so sad not being able to meet my other half for so long. *pouts*
Wow. Long post. Wasn't intended!
