Megadeth was awesome! I don't even know where to start! I totally couldn't believe I was there watching them live. Dave Mustaine and James LoMenzo were just in front of me. OMG.
I had 3 hours of draggy tutorials before that which I kinda regretted attending. Rushed to meet Lucas & co for dinner after dumping my stuff in the locker. Thank God for lockers! Fish & co for dinner. Yum!
Lucas and I tried to find our way to the concert venue after that and got lost. We ended up walking one big round round Fort Canning. And the funny thing is there was a bunch of kids following us, thinking we knew where we were going. Hahah! We were rather early so I tried to find a good spot. Which is totally useless coz once the thing starts and the crowd starts moving, everything changes and it's MAD! I was constantly pushing and grabbing people to make sure I didn't lose my balance. Gosh, what an experience. I was covered with sweat. Mine and a million other's. Being so short, I couldn't see a thing at some points and Lucas was nice enough to carry me. Woo hoo! See, I have such a nice friend. LOL.
Best song of the night - Symphony of Destruction. I went slightly berserk during that song and when I looked around after that I realised my friends were nowhere in sight. Hahaha. Managed to find Crystal and Natalia after that. I don't know how. There was just people and more people everywhere.
After the thing ended, I followed Crystal and Natalia to catch a last glimpse of them as the van was leaving. XD
Went to chill outside Starbucks after that coz there were no seats inside. I drank this funny blackberry green tea thing which tasted rather interesting. It was a funky shade of green. Like my Shokubutsu bath foam. LOL. I wanted to get water coz I was so super dehydrated, but there wasn't anymore Ice Mountain mineral water at the 7-11 there. Heh yes, I'm that fussy.
When I got home, I looked in the mirror and got a shock. I looked like Sadako! Hahaha... Well, except Sadako didn't have half copper hair. And a shower has never brought that much relief in a long time. I think the last time was during FOC when I was covered in mud and flour.
Oh and surprisingly I managed to wake up at 7.30am the next morning to sing for a wedding. Even Adam was surprised. Haha. Be proud of me.

I only had one tutorial today thanks to e-learning. And it was an enjoyable tutorial. I didn't wanna waste all that travelling time so here I am slacking in the library, trying to get some studying done. STUDY STUDY STUDY!!! Anyway, today's a rather relaxing day. Very good. I have no more deadlines to contend with! I sorta screwed up my lab demo yesterday but it's okay. It's over and at least I don't have to spend any more time on it now. Such a pain in the ass.
I'm very happy and excited now. Going to watch Megadeth tomorrow!!! I just found out that Lucas and Crystal will be going so I decided to join them. Hee hee! Last minute decision. Bought my ticket on the way to school today. Yayest!!! But I'm a poor girl now... I still have to get my bus and train concession for the next month. There goes more money. Blah.
I wish I were smarter. Then I'd know how to do my Database tutorials and won't be so screwed.
I saw Emilio on the way to school today. But he didn't see me.
I should stop being so random.
Happy birthday Sarah!!!

More music to add to my music library! Got Apocalyptica's new album yesterday. It's pretty good. Their instrumentals are good stuff. And I've always loved the sound of the cello.
Nightwish! Dark Passion Play's one awesome album. Okay, there were a couple of tracks I didn't like so much and I still prefer Tarja to Anette but there are some gems in here! The Poet and the Pendulum is a masterpiece! It has a really intense and dramatic sound which I love. Other good songs include Last of the Wilds, Master Passion Greed, Sahara, Amaranth and 7 Days to the Wolves.
Oh and I dug up this old CD i bought when I was still in JC. Dir en grey's Vulgar. Yeah. Back then when I was still into visual kei. It was an impulse buy but a really good one! I ended up listening to it all the time while I was studying for my A levels. I ripped it into my laptop last night and listened to it again after like, what, 3 years? I still kinda enjoy it... Heh heh. It has some pretty good stuff.
Gosh, why does time have to pass to fast? Just a while ago, it felt like the semester just started. Now? We're into week 11 and exams are 3 weeks away. Damn damn damn. I've tried studying but I can't seem to retain anything in my poor little brain. A couple hours later I feel like I'm back to square one. And the secondary school formula of just listen in class and do your homework and you don't need to study doesn't work anymore. Gah... Time to haunt the library again? Man, I need variety! Need to source out other good studying spots.
Looking forward to meeting Serene tomorrow! She's moved to Bukit Timah. Bleah... I'll miss having her staying just down the road from me. Desmond's moving too. Oh well.

I wanted to watch Heroes but the stupid school network is so bloody slow. It annoys me!!! I watched episodes 1 and 2 of season 2 last night, hence depriving myself of more sleep. I'm always doing stupid things like that.
I'm getting bored reading my Genes lecture notes. I should have printed fewer slides in a page. The words are so small now. I'm just killing my eyes.
I'm pretty cranky now coz my mp3 player went flat and I'm suffering from music withdrawal symptoms now. Silence in the library is so so not good for the mental health.
Oh I got an A for the Database lab thingo. Hurray.
I should be off to Mass soon.
Grey's Anatomy tonight!

Today has been a good day.
Firstly, no traffic jam on the way to school! I left the house late and I was all panicky but to my surprise, my journey on bus 52 was oh so smooth! Lovely!
Business plan presentation was alright. Well, I thought we did pretty well for the presentation but somehow fell short during the Q&A part. I didn't leave feeling satisfied but oh well, it's a load off my back. It was loads of fun preparing for it though. My group rocks!
C K Tang!!! I'll be doing my Industrial Attachment there next year. I just received the email and my interview was a success! Yay!!! The job scope sounds pretty demanding though... Looks like I'll have to do some preparation before I start work there. Oh i hope the pay's good...
I can't wait for Dream Theater! I'll be going with Benedict and his Vietnamese friend. So exciting! Tickets cost 95 bucks which is not very expensive compared to other concerts. Oh 17 January, could you please come now?
Hmmm... I'm in the mood for a movie tonight. *wink*

So. The interview went pretty well. It was rather informal and the guy who interviewed me was nice. I hope I get it! Hee... Thanks everyone for all your pre-interview wishes!
A few of us HALMMsters went to St Ignatius Church to sing for Ivan's friend's wedding yesterday. The church was wow. The accoustics were WOW. Just talk at your normal volume and everyone in the church would be able to hear you. The sounds of heels against the floor just echoes thoughout the church. If only the accoustics at Holy Spirit were as good. Or almost as good. The reception after the wedding was excellent. The food was catered from Botak Jones and it was so good. Free lunch! Hee hee!
Lucas, Andrew and I went to check out concert venues after that. It'll be either at Marymount Convent or St Theresa's Home. Both are good in their own ways, so I'm not sure were we'll decide on. This concert thing is getting exciting.
Today was pretty boring. Accompanied Lucas for a meeting about the youth conference before heading to the library. The conference will be on 29 and 30 November. That means I'll have to miss the first day since my last paper in on the 29th. Bleah...
Business plan presentation coming up on Thursday! Our group sorta volunteered to do it this week instead of the next. How smart of us. We're hoping to set the standard so high, the other groups will feel stressed. How evil of us. Heh heh. So. I better get started on my slides instead of blogging nonsense here.
Ciao!
