Haha. Something my dear brother drew for me. You'll only get it if you're a HALMMster.
Shh, it's..here..
Okay I've got lots to blog about but I don't really know where to start.
FOC's over! It went pretty well I think. I hope. Haha. Very tiring and stressful 4 days. Only slept 10 hours in total. But it was quite an experience. I've grown closer to the comm and they're fantastic people. 19 freshies! I hope all of them will remain active in CSA. Then next year's FOC comm won't be shorthanded. Like we were. SP night was fun! People like Kelly and Lynnette came. Had fun laughing charades and I was yelling out random guesses. I so love amusing myself. Heh. Anyway, I'm relieved it's over. No need to go for meetings, no need to prepare agenda, no need to worry if this or that has been done. A huge, huge load off my back.
Fr Louis Fossion passed away on Thursday morning. I was at Pasir Ris with my group during the mini amazing race when I heard the news and I was stunned. I never got to know him very well but he was both inspiring and adorable. Sang for his memorial mass on Friday and his funeral yesterday. Very grand affair. I cried like a baby on both days. His cremation was a very sad moment for everyone. I couldn't even sing.
Thankfully we managed to kinda cheer up by the time we were back in church after the cremation. We played frisbee while waiting for choir practice to start and all was good. Lucas' banana drink's really good! Yummy!
Okay I think I should stop blogging now if not I'll never stop. Hee hee.

Hello! I know, I know. I haven't been blogging very regularly. Forgive me!
Haha. Well. I went for the Youth Day convention at the Expo on Saturday as a facilitator. What great fun it was! All the shouting and jumping up and down was crazy. Yeah, sure, I'm not a P&W person but oh well... I was thinking since I was already there I might as well do whatever everyone else was doing and do what I was supposed to do as a facilitator (which is? Inspire?). So yea. I sang (shouted, rather) all the songs I usually label as rubbish and all that. And guess what? I actually enjoyed myself! I still think it has zero spiritual benefits though. You want spiritual, just go attend mass, I say.
And combined practices for Fr Foission's mass has started on Sunday. Apparently that was their third practice but we didn't know they've started. I have no idea why. Stacie and I only found out on that day itself coz we attended 11am and the choir asked us why we haven't been joining them for the past 2 practices. Bah. And I really love the repertoire! Hallelujah Chorus, Ave Verum Corpus and mass parts from Missa de Angelis!
Okay, I found this on Peter's blog. Looks fun so I'm trying it out. Hee hee.

I'm back in Singapore! Man, it's good to be back.
I've been back since Tuesday actually. But was to jetlagged and busy unpaking to blog.
Busy days since I got back! Unpaking's such a chore. And there're gifts to sort out. Went all the way to NTU on Thursday to meet Mrs Lam about FOC. 3 hours of travelling just to talk to her for half an hour. Why must NTU be so far away? Argh. Mrs Lam was a really nice lady though.
Yesterday was such a long day. Had to go to CAYC for Youth Day facilitator training. I had to cantor for mass later that day so I had to go there in formal clothes. Rushed down to church in a cab after the training. Learnt the psalm half an hour before mass. Before I knew it, I was up at the ambo and to my horror I forgot the psalm tone! Lucky for me, I heard Gabriel playing it and I was saved from humiliation. Whew.
Just one month of holidays left. I better enjoy it as much as I can. This week's gonna be a busy week!
