Well well. First week of work went pretty well, I must say. It takes a bit of getting used to. The long hours, the heavy morning traffic (wait, I'm already used to that), the lunch crowds... But the work has been okay so far. It's not slack but at least I ain't running shitty errands. Heard plenty of stories about that. Interns being made to direct traffic and all. Tsk tsk. What I really miss though, is the amount of time I used to have to myself. I get to work before 9am and by the time I get back it's dark. Dinner, shower, a bit of TV or MSN and I'm off to bed. That's it! Seriously. I wonder how the people working there have families and all with such daily schedules. Haha. Okay that's about it for work for now. It's gonna get more demanding and I hope it doesn't get too stressful. One major concern now is the Dream Theater concert on Thursday. I have to get to Fort Canning from the office and I'm so, so, SO worried that I wouldn't be able to knock off at 6.30 sharp. I'll have to pray hard.
Met up with the girls on Friday after work. Was late coz some server decided to act up. It was great seeing them again. Listya hasn't been doing anything at work and Atie has been isolated from the rest of the world. Wandered around Orchard with List after that. Great way to unwind after work but I was totally pooped out when I got home. Had barely enough energy to shower.
When things get dreary at work, I start to miss HALMM. So i was really happy to be singing with them again yesterday. We're starting Latin parts of Mass again. I hope we really start using them for Mass this time round. Latin is good!
I miss wearing T-shirt and jeans every day.
