Okay to start things off, Dream Theater was awesome! As you can see from the photos. Haha. Never mind that it rained, never mind that I my dinner only consisted of granola bars, never mind that my camera got confiscated halfway through the concert, never mind that they didn't play my favourite song (Metropolis). It was a really surreal night. I managed to get a pretty good view throughout the whole concert. I was directly in front of this huge subwoofer so my body was vibrating the whole time. Haha. There was this kid standing near me. He couldn't have been older than 10 and he knew the words to all the songs. Cool kid eh. Watching them play all their crazy progressive stuff live was really cool. Best songs of the night were The Dark Eternal Night, In The Presence Of Enemies and personal favourite, Home. The encore medly was pretty amazing too. And the animations they showed on the screen were kinda cute. N.A.D.S. = North American Dream Squad. LOL.
So. I met up with the school gang for a Little India lunch on Sunday. The food at Muthu's Curry was excellent. Vikrem gave us a treat which was really sweet of him. I'm glad we met up since we hardly get to see each other these days.
Let's see. Work is still work. Nothing much to say. I've started to fall asleep during the bus rides to the office. Haha. Yea, the journey's not long at all. But i still sleep anyway.
Oh yes. I got Manowar's The Triumph of Steel a few days ago. Pretty good stuff. And I borrowed Homer's The Odyssey from the library. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be an interesting read.
Meeting Kelly on Friday for dinner and a movie (27 Dresses!) and to just catch up. Looking forward to that. I'm looking forward to watching Sweeney Todd as well. I see the advertisement for it every day on my way home and it looks really good. And it's known that the Tim Burton + Johnny Depp combi rarely disappoints.
