Hahaha. Adam sorta expected me to blog about yesterday eh. So alright I will. About time I updated anyway.
So yesterday started with the both of us oversleeping and leaving for Queensway later than planned. I always feel nostalgic when I step into that place since it was my favourite hangout when I was in JC. First thing we did was to buy bubble tea. Coz what's a visit to Queensway without drinking bubble tea, right? We wanted to go to the CD shop next to the toilet that sells lotsa metal CDs but unfortunately it was closed. Very disappointing indeed.
So we headed to HMV instead and the metal collection there was rather pathetic. And one of the saddest things ever happened. I've been eyeing Candlemass' Dactylis Glomerata for some time now and it's been lying there for the longest time. I finally made up my mind and decided to buy it yesterday since I'll be getting my pay soon. But guess what. It wasn't there anymore. Damn! And it's so very hard to find that album in Singapore! Why do this to me?!?!
Anyway, I ended up getting James Taylor's Best Of album which is pretty good. Adam got Nightwish's Angels Fall First and we left the shop happy. Adam being happier than me of course. We stopped by Starbucks to give our legs a short break before heading to Far East where after lots and lots of walking, we managed to find the shop that sells band tees. Nothing that really appealed to me though. The Dream Theater Train of Thought one was quite nice but I didn't buy it. Well, at least we now know where the shop is and won't have to search the entire building again.
Bused down to Plaza Singapura for dinner after that (bus concession rocks!). Salmon bowl from Yoshinoya made me really full. Oh, while we were taking the bus down there was some drama going on in the bus. About someone not wanting to pay or something. *shrugs*
Okay so that's yesterday. I like such outings. Something I can't seem to be able to do with anyone else except Adam. Maybe it's in the genes or something.
Watched Curse of the Golden Flower on DVD last night. I liked that it was really dramatic with elaborate costumes and sets and all. Music was not bad. But the ending was well, typical Chinese period drama ending. Heh. Chow Yun-Fat played the emperor really well and Jay Chou was better than expected.
Work today was bloody tiring.
Dactylis Glomerata. I still want.
Shh, it's..here..
