Okay I know I haven't updated for eternity. Well, what to do. The life of a final year student is an extremely boring one. Studying something you have no interest in makes it even worse.

Yesterday was nice though. One of those rare days when I didn't have to go to school. Spent the morning doing FYP. Urgh. There's no running away from that eh. Bused down to town in the afternoon and bought myself Candlemass' Tales of Creation (which I haven't had the time to listen to yet). Saw it in HMV a couple weeks back, thank goodness it was still there! Bought some Subway cookies before heading to Michael's place for a Shakespere evening. Watched Michael Almereyda's Hamlet. It was not bad. Just kinda weird hearing people speak like that in a modern day contemporary setting. We had some of the best pizzas ever for dinner from Pelican Pizza. Yummy yummy stuff. Definitely better than Canadian Pizza. I think I overate coz I was feeling bloated for the next few hours. Anyway, we continued to watch Roman Polanski's Macbeth after that. Unfortunately, I had to leave halfway coz I had to do my FYP weekly report. Damn you, FYP! It was really disappointing since I was really enjoying the film and it looked very promising. Really lovely location shots too, by the way.

Fifth week of school and the workload just keeps piling higher and higher. Bleah... I hate this. Been kinda sick for the past couple of days. Bad throat, stuffed nose. The throat's better after 2 huge cups of starfruit juice with salt (works every time!) but now I'm starting to cough. Sigh... Must be the crazy weather and the lack of sleep.
